Government Fees
The following fees are paid directly to the U.S. Department of State and are separate from our service fees:

ID Requirements
You must present a valid, government-issued photo ID when submitting your passport application. Acceptable forms of ID include:
- U.S. driver's license (not expired)
- State-issued non-driver ID
- Military ID
- Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
- Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship
Important: Your ID must show your name, date of birth, and photo. Expired IDs are generally not accepted. If your name has changed since your ID was issued, you must also provide legal name change documentation (e.g., marriage certificate, court order).
Passport Photo Requirements
Your passport photo must meet strict U.S. government specifications. Here are the key requirements:
- Size: 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm)
- Background: Plain white or off-white — no patterns or shadows
- Expression: Neutral expression, mouth closed
- Eyes: Open and looking directly at the camera
- Glasses: Not permitted (as of November 2016)
- Head coverings: Not permitted unless worn daily for religious reasons
- Recency: Taken within the last 6 months
- Quality: In focus, with no shadows on face or background
